How often should Motion-Plus™ Oil System Cleaner be applied to an engine?
Motion-Plus™ Oil System Cleaner should be applied at least once a year, or every time that you exceed your normal oil change interval.
Why should we apply Motion-Plus™ Oil System Cleaner when we exceed our normal oil change interval?
Motor oils are made to last a certain mileage (it varies with synthetic or conventional oil). When that mileage is exceeded, the oil starts to deteriorate and it produces carbon and residue that sticks to the engine walls. This causes overheating and it produces friction. Cleaning the engine internally guarantees longevity of the engine, free of impurities, which prolongs the engines life and it helps you save fuel.
At what moment should you apply Motion-Plus™ Oil System Cleaner?
Motion-Plus™ Oil System Cleaner should be applied at the time of the oil change; apply it to the dirty oil, run the engine for 5 to 6 minutes, drain the dirty oil and apply new oil.
Why is it recommended to use Motion-Plus™ Engine Treatment after internally cleaning the engine?
The ideal moment to apply Motion-Plus™ Engine Treatment is after internally cleaning the engine; the walls inside the engine are free of impurities, therefore the engine treatment can stick to the walls.
Can Motion-Plus™ Oil System Cleaner be applied to an engine with excessive mileage?
No. Engines with excessive mileage should not be cleaned with Motion-Plus™ Oil System Cleaner due to the possibilities that it can open old mechanical failures that already exist.
What else can you apply Motion-Plus™ Oil System Cleaner to?
Motion-Plus™ Oil System Cleaner can be used in differentials, manual transmissions and power steering assemblies. You should always change the fluid after using Motion-Plus™ Oil System Cleaner.
Is Motion-Plus™ Oil System Cleaner harmful to humans?
Motion-Plus™ Oil System Cleaner is not harmful because it does not contain toxics or chemicals that are dangerous for human health. It contains a high level of detergents.
